Robin Alexa

Born in Mexico City (1989). Haves a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad the Guadalajara, a Diploma in Illustration from the London Art College, a Diploma in Animation: Stop Motion by the Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales. She took the course: Art Design by Montgomery College in Houston, United States, attended to the Glass-Art workshop at the Alberto Barovier Glass Museum in Monterrey, Mexico and the course of Basalto Handicraft Stonework Course by the Instituto Jaliscience de la Artesanía.
Some of the influences that Robin Alexa has had, are international artists such as Mark Ryden, Benjamin Lacombe, Eugenio Recuenco, the Grimm brothers and the undeniable influence of Walt Disney.
Participation in the Festival de las Artes Luminaria in the municipal palace of Atizapán of Zaragoza, with oil painting "Greenme". (2015).

As far as prizes and distinctions are concerned Robin Alexa won the first place in the contest Body-painting organized by the Universidad de Guadalajara( 2009). She obtained a distinction with the sculptural piece "Anywhere and the tree" in the contest "Talentos en Desarrollo", organized by the Center for Advanced Studies of Design of Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico (2008).
